Located about 65km from Arusha, this is a relaxing and fun day tour to start or finish your Kilimanjaro climbing adventure or wildlife safari. Located in the desert of Boma, Kikuletwa Hotsprings or Maji Moto (Swahili for “Hot Water”) this tropical oasis is a great way to spend your day. We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and make the two-hour drive to Lundugai near Boma Ng’ombe arriving at the Chemka / Maji Moto Hot springs. The scenic drive which includes a view of Kilimanjaro, takes you off the tourist trail offering a glimpse into local life including bustling markets and local farms. On arrival at the springs, you’ll spend a few hours soaking in the warm waters, playing on the rope swings above the water and relaxing in the dappled shade of the trees. At the end of the day, we will return you to your hotel in either Arusha or Moshi.
